Job Summary :
The Territory Manager – High Value BC Business is responsible for driving secured lending business through strategic BC partnerships with Large NBFCs, Banks and HFCs. The role focuses on building high-value LAP portfolios across Micro and Prime segments while ensuring profitability, portfolio quality and strong partner relationships. This is a business ownership role with opportunity to scale vertically and build a team over time.
Key Responsibilities :
Business & Partnership Management
- Drive business volumes through BC partnerships with Large NBFCs, Banks and HFCs.
- Build and manage relationships with DSAs, Connectors and Aggregators for LAP sourcing.
- Drive high-quality loan sourcing across Micro LAP (₹5 – 20 Lakhs) and Prime LAP (₹20 Lakhs – ₹1 Crore).
- Ensure strong partner engagement and long-term business continuity.
Territory Performance & Portfolio Ownership
- Own territory-level BC business performance including yield, portfolio quality and conversion efficiency.
- Drive profitable and sustainable portfolio growth.
- Track pipeline, sourcing funnel and disbursement efficiency.
Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Maintain deep understanding of competition, pricing benchmarks and customer segments.
- Identify new sourcing opportunities and partnership expansion areas.
- Support strategy for business scale-up across territory.
Internal Coordination & Execution
- Coordinate with Credit, Operations and Risk teams for smooth case processing.
- Ensure strong turnaround time and partner experience.
- Maintain business MIS, reporting and P&L visibility.
Team Building & Business Scale (Future Role Scope)
- Support business expansion strategy.
- Build and mentor sales team once business stabilizes and scales.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Experience :
5 – 10 years in Retail Lending, preferably NBFCs or HFCs (HL, LAP, MSME Secured Lending).
Functional Skills :
1. Strong DSA, Connector and Channel Partner Network.
2. Strong understanding of BC model and partnership-driven sourcing.
3. Strong market intelligence and competitive awareness.
4. Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
5. Strong business ownership mindset.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have :
1. Experience working with Large NBFCs, Banks or HFC BC partnerships.
2. Experience in Micro LAP and Prime LAP segments.
3. Prior experience managing P&L or territory business ownership.
4. Background in high-growth, performance-driven sales environments.
