Job Summary :
The Sales Manager / Relationship Manager – Secured Loans is responsible for driving MSME secured lending business through direct sourcing and relationship management. The role focuses on selling secured business loans including Loan Against Property (LAP) and Loan Against Machinery, managing the complete sales lifecycle and ensuring strong customer and partner relationships while driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities :
Business Development & Client Acquisition
- Identify and source MSME customers through cold calling, field visits and networking.
- Drive secured loan sourcing including Business Loans (up to ₹10 Lakhs), LAP and Loan Against Machinery (up to ₹25 Lakhs).
- Build strong customer pipeline and drive consistent business closures.
Sales Lifecycle Management
- Manage end-to-end sales process from lead generation to loan closure.
- Ensure proper documentation, case submission and follow-ups for faster processing.
Customer & Partner Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers and lending partners.
- Address customer queries and provide strong service experience.
Market Intelligence & Business Growth
- Track local market trends and identify new business opportunities.
- Identify sector-specific MSME opportunities for secured lending.
Internal Coordination & Execution
- Coordinate with Credit, Operations and Processing teams for smooth disbursement.
- Ensure strong turnaround time and customer experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Experience :
3 – 5 years in MSME lending sales, preferably secured loan products.
Functional Skills :
1. Strong understanding of Secured Business Loans, LAP and Loan Against Machinery.
2. Strong sales, negotiation and deal closure capability.
3. Good understanding of credit and underwriting processes.
Strong relationship management and customer handling skills.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
5. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have :
Experience working with MSME customer segments across multiple industries.
Strong local market network in assigned geography.
Experience working in target-driven lending sales environments.
